Summary

The Pre-operative Registered Nurse/RN is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for patients undergoing invasive surgical procedures. The registered nurse/RN demonstrates competency in assessing patients, planning, and coordinating their care. The registered nurse/RN participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with other disciplines to provide evidence based medical care for the patient.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to do so.
• CPR certification
